* The police drama Sous les vents de Neptune (2 x 90), a copro by Montreal’s Transfilm and France’s Passion Film for France 2, has wrapped after four weeks in Montreal.

* Toronto-based Nelvana and Sticky Pictures of Australia have signed to coproduce Pearlie, a 52 x 12 cartoon based on the kids books by Wendy Harmer. The Toronto toon house has also unveiled plans to co-develop Bakugan, a new action title aimed at boys 8-12.

* Montreal-based Instinct Films and the National Film Board are set to wrap the feature Family Motel, ending two months in Ottawa under director Helene Klodawsky and producer Ina Fichman.

* The MOW Lies & Crimes, by Toronto’s Chesler/Perlmutter Productions for Lifetime, has wrapped after four weeks in Hamilton, ON.

* Teletoon has ordered Futz! (26 x 3), a long-developing action-comedy cartoon from Toronto’s 9 Story Entertainment. Development continues on 9 Story’s tween-aimed Best Ed.

* The Spike TV pilot Amped, about cops who deal with mutants, is shooting in Vancouver until Oct. 19.

* Coneybeare Stories is making another 26 half-hours of the kid-aimed Monster Warriors for YTV.
