Station manager Charles Wechsler proudly comments that Rogers TV has ‘broadcast more hours of film festival coverage than any other station,’ adding, ‘this year viewers will get a special treat with new shows.’

The Toronto cable station, always heavy on TIFF coverage, will debut three new shows during this year’s event – Festival FastForward, in which critic Geoff Pevere interviews major film directors; Postcards from TIFF, which features short-but-sweet festival anecdotes; and Dreammakers, in which the festival’s former and present directors reminisce about memorable events that have taken place over the past 29 years.

They join Rogers’ signature film show Reel to Real, with Pevere and fellow critic Richard Crouse, and coverage of the press conferences, industry sessions, and a red carpet show.
