* Ted Rogers has said he will step down as CEO of Rogers Communications when his contract expires in June 2008. A successor has not been confirmed, but the company says the selection process is underway.

* Patricia Douey has taken on the new role of COO at Achilles Media, moving up from an SVP post. She will manage events including the Banff World Television Festival and the World Congress of History Producers.

Also at Achilles, Keri Levinsky is now director of partnership marketing for Banff. Craig Thompson is both executive producer for the history congress and director of development for Achilles.

* Marie-Odile Demay is the new manager of distribution at Montreal’s Via le Monde. She previously was communications director for Trigone Communication, and project manager for Kondolole Films.

* Paulo Gougeon is now in charge of all administration and contracts for Quebec-based Incendo Productions, coming over from an exec assistant job at Cookie Jar Entertainment.

* Maria Hale is CHUM Television’s VP for content business development, a new position overseeing new business and revenue opportunities. Hale was previously a VP at Citytv Toronto.

* Jean Vezina is Fox Incendo’s new executive director of program sales in French Canada. Vezina was the company’s director of program sales for the past four years.

* Rochelle Grayson is the new executive director of Women in Film & Video Vancouver. Grayson cofounded Women in Film & Television Germany, and is part of True West Films’ Vancouver office.
