* Bruno Légaré is the new head of Telefilm Canada’s national new media sector. He was previously new media director for French operations and the Quebec region.
* Daniel Gourd has announced he will leave his post as EVP of television at Radio-Canada at the end of his contract this November, ending three years on the job.
* Jacquelin Bouchard is now chair of the APFTQ’s board of directors, following a round of appointments at the AGM in June. Bouchard is also chairman and CEO of the Pixcom Group.
* Paris-based agent Jacqueline de Rosnay will now be handling sales of finished programming in France for Distraction Formats. The Montreal-based company also appointed Marion Desquenne head of format sales in Paris.
* Linda Steele is now the sales executive for programs at BBC Worldwide Canada, taking over during Gwen Jones McCauley’s maternity leave. Steele was previously a producer at Toronto’s Amérimage Productions and has worked for Alliance Atlantis Communications and the CBC.
