Vancouver – Going where Charlie’s Angels and Three’s Company went before, Behind the Camera: Mork & Mindy will tell the sensationalized star-making history of Robin Williams and his quirky late-’70s sitcom days with costar Pam Dawber.
Four weeks of production for ABC wraps in Vancouver Feb. 10. Canadian Chris Diamantopoulos (Third Watch) will star as Williams, a daunting challenge no doubt.

Won’t hurt a bit
Vancouver – Vancouver actor Emmanuelle Vaugier (Smallville) stars in the West Coast’s first official pilot of the year – the two-hour MOW Painkiller Jane for Sci Fi Channel, NBC Universal TV and MGM TV.
The title character is a Marine who gains self-healing powers after being exposed to a biochemical weapon. The pilot is based on the comic book character created by Joe Quesada and Jim Palmiotti. Sanford Bookstaver is the director, while local veteran Fran Rosati is production manager.

M(o)v-é update
Vanvouver – Production begins Feb. 7 on the independent feature thriller Mem(o)ré, starring Billy Zane (Titanic), Ann-Margret (Grumpy Old Men) and Dennis Hopper. In the story, Zane’s character is a memory authority who is exposed to an Amazonian substance that unlocks genetically stored memories – in his case, glimpses of the life of a killer.
Bennett Davlin (Tc3) is the writer/director. Production wraps March 17. Ian Edwards
