Burns in Calgary

Filmmaker Gary Burns (A Problem with Fear, waydowntown) will be in Calgary Jan. 13 at Canadian Casting Centres International to conduct a one-day workshop on how to get a start in the film biz. The workshop costs $133.75 and will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Burns’ latest feature A Problem With Fear opened the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival’s last Perspective Canada. He is currently developing a feature doc on urban sprawl for the National Film Board and CBC, as well as a television series based on waydowntown.
