Selling Innocence in Edmonton

ImagiNation president Nicolette Saina produces and executive produces with Vivianne Morin and Greg Dummett, both of Cite-Amerique.
Pierre Gang directs the Alberta/Quebec coproduction, starring Mimi Rogers, Sarah Lind (Edgemont) and JR Bourne (Stargate). Shooting started April 13 in and around Edmonton and was scheduled to wrap May 1, with plans to deliver to CTV sometime towards the end of the summer. Step to it
Vancouver: Vancouver dance film producer Alex Hamilton-Brown coaxed Canadian ballerina Karen Kain out of retirement to star in his ‘dance-drama’ scenario Elegie, commissioned by CBC’s Opening Night, Radio-Canada and ARTV.
Produced in partnership with Cine Qua Non International of Montreal, Elegie was shot on the Pont Neuf in central Paris in March. With no dialogue or narration, the film combines modern dance-drama with impressionistic film imagery of Paris.
The work was choreographed by Dominique Dumais (formerly of the National Ballet of Canada) and directed by Emmy winner Bernar Hebert. Ian Edwards
