Audience tallies for Global Television’s Vancouver-based, supper-hour national news show have surpassed the competition at CBC, according to recent ratings from BBM Canada.

Global National with Kevin Newman has a nightly audience of more than 810,000 viewers compared to 786,000 for CBC National and is within 55,000 viewers of CTV National.

Since the last ratings book, Global National with Kevin Newman has grown by 46,000 viewers, or 6%.
