Last issue we knew that Denise Donlon, president of Sony Music Canada, has been named Canadian Women in Communications woman of the year.

But now we know the mentor of the year award is being handed to Michael McCabe, president and ceo of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, for his support and participation in internal and national mentoring programs.

And the trailblazer of the year award goes to Michele Fortin, vp, French Television, cbc, for raising the bar for both women and men in the industry.

The cwc awards will be handed out at the Annual Gala and Awards Dinner on Feb. 19 in Ottawa.
