Devine Entertainment has signed a deal with Feature Films for Families to distribute the last four videos in The Artists Specials – Monet: Shadow and Light, Goya: Awakened in a Dream, Rembrant: Fathers and Sons and Winslow Homer: An American Original.
The new deal, which provides Devine with a minimum sale guarantee of us$200,000 ($297,000) for the following nine months, extends a prior agreement with ff to distribute Devine’s videos through telemarketing and direct mail in North America and the u.k.
Also under the new agreement, Devine increases its royalty revenues by 25% per video sold.
Based on past sales performance, Devine expects revenues of approximately us$325,000 ($483,000) under the new deal.
In the last 10 months, ff has sold more than 250,000 units of The Inventors Specials and the first two films in The Artists Specials.
In other company news, Devine has completed a private placement whereby principals David Devine and Richard Mozer have acquired 388,090 shares at $0.65 to provide Devine with roughly $252,000 of working capital while project financing is finalized.
