With its annual meeting May 18, Women In Film & Video Vancouver noted membership has risen to more than 500 women and men working in creative, technical, administrative and service fields. Delegates reviewed a successful year of events, and elected a new board of directors for a two-year term.

New board members are: Judi Babcock, Karen Cameron, Carrie Chase (president), Barbara Harwood (treasurer), Katharine Montagu, Gillian Pearson, Jacqueline Samuda (vice-president) and Shan Tam. Continuing board members are Arlene Rimer, Kate Hickok, Carol Horn (secretary), Tracy Houston, Andrea Klipp and Joyce Thierry.
