Toronto audio post-production houses Tattersall Sound and Casablanca Sound & Picture have merged to form Tattersall Casablanca, a full-service sound and post-production company.

Founded in 1992, Tattersall Sound’s audio post and sound design studio has served feature films, tv series, mows and documentaries. Recent credits include the theatrical releases Sunshine and American Psycho. Casablanca was acquired by Atlantis Communications in 1994 and its business includes sound and picture editing. The company has won awards for sound work on Crash and the miniseries Joan of Arc.

Tattersall Casablanca will divide operations so that sound editing goes to the old Tattersall location and mixing to the former Casablanca facility. Jane Tattersall, founder and president of Tattersall Sound, is president and ceo of the new company.
