*BTF to manage World Science Congress

The Banff Television Festival is taking over management of the World Congress of Science Producers’ annual international meetings. The congress, which promotes excellence in science production, holds its meetings in a different city each year and will stage its 2000 confab in Sydney toward the end of the year.

*2nd edition of Quebec Multimedia Guide

l’Association des producteurs en multimedia du Quebec has released the second edition of Guide des producteurs en multimedia du Quebec/Quebec Multimedia Producers Guide.

apmq says the number of listed companies in the 2000 industry directory is more than double last year. The listed multimedia production houses employ more than 4,000, or an average of 28, per company. The guide is also available on the Web (www.multimedia-quebec.com).
