Former broadcast and marketing executive Claire Samson has been appointed president and director-general of l’Association des Producteurs de Films et de Television du Quebec, the 100-member Quebec film and tv producers association.

Samson has held senior posts in broadcasting over a 20 year period with src, tqs and tva.

She begins her new duties with the apftq Jan. 10 and replaces Raymond Breard who resigned last month.
