Neuman quits Bell ExpressVu

Bell ExpressVu president and ceo Michael Neuman is quitting the satellite tv service to head up a u.k.-based start-up telecom company. Bell ExpressVu has appointed coo David McLennan to take over Neuman’s duties in the interim.

Neuman, who has been with ExpressVu since 1996, takes his leave effective Nov. 26 when he moves to the front offices of iaxis, a telecom carrier specializing in selling pan-European bandwidth and facilities management services.

‘A start-up and turnaround expert, Michael has brought Bell ExpressVu from a fledgling satellite tv company with no subscribers to be the fifth-largest broadcast distributor in Canada with more than 340,000 subscribers and more than $180 million in annualized revenue,’ Alain Gourd, president of BCE Media, Bell ExpressVu’s parent company, said in a release. ‘Now he will take on another early-stage corporate challenge with iaxis.’
