Sci Fi Channel, owned by USA Network, has picked up the American rights to Salter Street Films’ science-fiction series Lexx. Sci Fi will being airing Lexx’s second season, consisting of 20 hour-long episodes, in January and has an option for the third season, which is currently in production. Lexx is an international coproduction between Halifax-based Salter Street and Germany’s TiMe and has already been sold to more than 100 countries worldwide.
