Montreal: Former La Fete Productions producer Kevin Tierney has opened Ardglasson Productions. The new prodco (‘the name of my little village in Ireland’) will key on dramatic motion pictures and television.

Ardglasson’s offices are housed at Mel’s Cite du Cinema, at the invitation of Michel Trudel and Mel Hoppeneheim, says Tierney.

Tierney has several projects in development and has a Gemini nomination for best drama series, More Tales of the City, sold to Bravo!, Citytv and Showtime. Jackie Burroughs is also nominated for More Tales, while actor Brent Carver is nominated for Whiskers, a family movie seen on TMN-The Movie Network, also produced by Tierney.

Tierney was exec producer on the four-hour A&E series, P.T. Barnum, and produced the six-hour crime drama, Bonanno: A Godfather’s Story, sold to Showtime, Hallmark, Global Television, tmn, Super Ecran, Reseau tva and Superchannel.
