*Nightingale, Brooks make Mischief

Debbie Nightingale, the former executive director of Hot Docs! and the Toronto International Film Festival’s Rogers Industry Centre, is launching a new production company with partner Stanley Brooks.

Mischief Films will be looking for long-form drama projects – mows and features – as well as exploring series opportunities, says Nightingale. Documentaries will also be on the company’s slate.

In the coming weeks, Nightingale plans to announce the first of Mischief Films’ greenlit projects.

*E! gets FT!

ChumCity International has signed a distribution deal with E! Entertainment Networks to air its series FT-Fashion Television. E! has exclusive u.s. rights to the series until Dec. 31, 2000. ft will air on E!’s style and E! Entertainment Television beginning Oct. 2.
