Once again, the Canadian Television Fund’s Quebec office has received numerous applications for development assistance from the English-language private broadcaster envelope, and the amounts requested far surpass the earmarked amount of $166,689. Applications to the English-language envelope received to date total $260,096.

In light of the quality of the projects submitted and the limited resources available, Telefilm’s Quebec office is no longer accepting further applications for development assistance from the English-language private broadcaster envelope.

Likewise, applications to the Multimedia Fund’s Quebec office for development, production and marketing assistance have surpassed the earmarked amount of $2,060,541 by more than $1.4 million. The office will accept no further applications after Sept. 30.
