The Cogeco Program Development Fund has announced the first recipients of its new feature film development program, handing out $210,000 in interest-free loans to six companies.

Triptych Media, Rhombus Media, Sienna Films, Motion International, Cite-Amerique and Max Films each received $35,000 towards script development.

The feature film development program received requests from 26 production companies to support 88 feature length projects applying for a total of $875,000. The next deadline is July 1, 2000.
