television Quatre Saisons has named Robert Parent to head up its new Montreal-based production company, Productions Point-Final. The broadcaster has not yet identified the full scope of Point-Final’s activities, but initially it will concentrate on news and information programming. Parent, who will take on the vp and gm post as of Sept. 7, will be based at the new tqs studios and offices at 612, rue St-Jacques. Parent was vp/gm at cfap-tv in Quebec City. tqs is majority controlled by Quebecor Communications.
