sfa Productions picked up two golds and a silver at the Worldfest International Film Festival in Arizona.

Rita MacNeil’s Celtic Celebration special, which aired on ctv in March, took home the Festival Gold Award for best tv concert. The special will be rebroadcast on ctv Dec. 23.

In the comedy special division, sfa’s Elvira Kurt’s Big Girl Now also won gold, while Jeremy Hotz’s, Only in Cana-duh, garnered a silver award. A fourth sfa production, Wood, Cheese and Children by Sean Cullen, was a finalist in the same category.

The three comedy specials aired on ctv and The Comedy Network.
