*Cori Doern has been appointed to the newly created position of commercial representative at Toronto’s Command Post & Transfer. Previously, Doern was Command Post’s – and later TOYBOX’s – senior scheduler and producer.
In her new role, Doern will assist in introducing Command Post’s increasing roster of services to the commercial world.
*Nat Abraham has joined Toronto-based Audio Track Corporation as senior VP. Previously, Abraham had been with Sullivan Entertainment International where he was responsible for worldwide distribution and sales of Sullivan TV productions and acquisitions. Abraham was also VP of Fox/Astral Television, managing Canadian sales of the 20th Century Fox catalogue.
Audio Track operates an automated international tracking system for TV programming and commercials.
*Tektronix officially launched its new Canadian headquarters north of Toronto in Vaughan, Ont. this month. The new facility covers 36,000 square feet, about 80% bigger than its former space.
Over 250 guests, including Vaughan Mayor Lorna Jackson attended the grand opening, touring the facilities and checking out product demos from Tektronix divisions including test and measurement, video and networking, and color printing.
Tektronix has over 100 employees and four other offices in Canada – in Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Montreal.
