WIC Television affiliate CFCF-TV Montreal has filed an application for control of money-losing multilingual station CJNT-TV. CFCF will ask for conditions of licence similar to those imposed on Toronto station CFMT-TV, owned by Rogers Broadcasting.

The proposal would effectively add some English-language WIC programming, syndication and reruns to CJNT’s currently all-ethnic schedule.
