The ratings are in for the final round of Canadian primetime drama debuts.

For its season premiere on Oct. 15, the new ctv hockey drama Power Play (Alliance Atlantis) netted an average audience of 725,000 (2+) and a preliminary 547,000 (15 of 16 stations reporting) on Oct. 22.

Global’s Traders (aac) drew an average minute audience of 465,000 (2+) for its Oct. 15 debut, against er’s 2,617,000 average minute audience on ctv in the same time slot. Ratings for Traders’ second episode on Oct. 22 were not available at press time.

Although claiming it’s still too early to discuss ratings, the cbc says Black Harbour (Fogbound Films) averaged 463,000 viewers for its first two episodes on Oct. 9 and 16.

In specialty channel ratings news, Space: The Imagination Station’s First Wave (Vidatron Entertainment Group in association with Pearson Television International) has been consistently drawing an average audience of 100,000 since its Sept. 9 debut. The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (Crescent Entertainment) and Highlander: The Raven (Fireworks Entertainment) have also both pulled in an average audience of 100,000 since their debuts on Sept. 26 and Oct. 4, respectively.

First Wave airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m., The Crow, Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Highlander, Sundays at 7 p.m.
