On The Move

* Curtis Staples has joined the staff of International Image, which has offices in Toronto and L.A. Staples was previously VP of business development at Vancouver’s Rainmaker and brings wide experience dealing in the L.A. market.

* Marianne O’Reilly has rejoined Vancouver’s Northwest Imaging & Effects as executive producer. O’Reilly worked at Northwest from 1990 to 1993 as account executive and producer before going to the BC Lions as director of advertising and promotions and then to the Buffalo Sabres as director of game presentation and special events.

* Audio equipment manufacturer AMS Neve has appointed Bruce Merley senior business development manager and Chris Albert business development manager. Both will operate out of AMS Neve’s New York office.

* The Chyron Corporation, maker of broadcast-quality graphics systems, character generators, and routing and automation equipment, has named Dawn R. Johnston senior VP and CFO. Johnston is replacing CFO and treasurer Patricia Arundell Lampe, who is taking maternity leave and will not be returning to the company.

* At C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures, Beth Sawatsky has been promoted to production coordinator.
