A conference on children’s tv is also scheduled and will be moderated by Claude Jolicoeur of Coscient. Canadian panelists include Pierre Roy, Reseaux Premier Choix; Peter Moss, YTV Canada; Trudy Grant, Sullivan Films; Micheline Fortin, Radio-Canada; Michael Hirsh, Nelvana; Mickey Rogers, Forefront Entertainment; and Steve Levitan, Protocol Entertainment.
Telefilm says 16 companies will operate out of its stand at the market. Canada ranked fourth in terms of registered companies at last year’s fall market. mipcom runs from Oct. 5-9.
