News Brief: Vidatron placement

Institutional investors are taking a stronger interest in Vancouver’s Vidatron Entertainment Group which completed a $2-million private placement with Royal Bank Capital Corporation July 28. In total, 533,300 common shares were issued at a price of $3.75.

Investment manager Vincent Lum says RBCC feels ‘Vidatron has the elements to become a major Canadian production house and look forward to supporting its continued growth.’

As part of the transaction, RBCC’s Western VP Darrell Elliott – described as a veteran corporate advisor – will join Vidatron’s board.

Vidatron is in production with the series First Wave, Dead Man’s Gun and Electric Playground.
