Although details weren’t available at press time, word has it that Rogers Communications is picking up chum’s MuchMoreMusic for cable distribution this September. M3, an adult contemporary music channel, will reportedly occupy channel 36, replacing TV5.

A first film from Avion Films’ director Tim Hamilton has been accepted into the Toronto International Film Festival’s Perspective Canada series. Shrink, a 30-minute black comedy about one man’s adventure with his psychologist, was produced by Hoodoo Films, the music video sister company to commercial production house Avion.
