Shooting will begin July 28 in Bragg Creek, Alta. on cbc and Alberta Filmworks’ mow In The Blue Ground based on the North of 60 series.

The two-hour movie is a ‘contemporary police thriller’ which takes place in the woods of Lynx River in the Canadian North. Series executive story editor Andrew Wreggitt penned the script. Alberta Filmworks’ Tom Dent-Cox and Doug MacLeod will produce and Alliance International will distribute the film worldwide.
