*Stentor has Olympic site for kids

Stentor has a new site on the World Wide Web titled Wired Olympic Winter (wow!).

The interactive site full of games and activities is designed to help kids and teachers share in the Nagano Olympic Winter Games experience in a fun and educational way.

Activities on the Website, located at //www.youtholympic.coa.ca, include the Postcard Picasso Challenge drawing contest, a musical ‘jam’ with Japanese instruments, Ask-an-Athlete question-and-answer postings with a featured athlete every second week, and discussion forums with other kids across Canada.

*French documentary program at National Film Board

The French Program at the National Film Board is inviting documentary filmmakers to apply for a three-year residents program called Documentaristes residents. Filmmakers are asked to submit two documentary projects in the French language to one of three French program exec producers, Andre Gladu, Nicole Lamothe or Eric Michel. The contact at the nfb in Montreal is Nicole Frechette. Applications must be submitted before Nov. 7.
