Lacewood Productions has until July 28 to reveal its plan to repay Paragon Entertainment’s $2.4 million investment. In January, Paragon announced plans to increase its stake in Lacewood to 75% from 50% and advanced the funds to the studio. When the ownership stake increase fell through, Paragon filed a lawsuit requesting reimbursement.

One of the potential repayment scenarios surfacing on the 28th could include the financial participation of actor Leslie Nielsen (The Naked Gun) who worked for Lacewood as one of the voices on Katie & Orbie.
