Through the Filmmaker Assistance Program, the National Film Board’s Ontario Centre will support 11 new film and video projects with up to $5,000 in technical assistance.
This brings NFB Ontario’s fiscal 1996/97 total support to 45 projects.
Receiving assistance are David Weaver’s A Boy’s Own Story, Henry Sarwer-Foner’s Short Leash, Shelley Niro’s Honey Moccasin, Mike Munn’s A Hole in the Road, Jorge Manzano’s This Prison I Call My Home, Gerald Lagendyk’s Thrilling Grief, Kwoi Gin’s Bone Collector, Elio Gemini’s This Is Chiapas; Amnon Buchbinder’s The Fishing Trip, Valerie Buhagier’s L’Amour, L’amour, Shut the Door, Por Favor and Grimur Ardal’s Life’s A Parade.
