Commercial Directions: Isham scores on Ice

At Revolver Films, director Drew Jarvis had one day for Ford through Young & Rubicam. Miroslaw Baszak was on camera and post was handled by Grant Pye at Third Floor Editing.

Revolver director Wayne Isham picked up three days in Calgary for Molson Ice through Encore Encore Strategic Marketing, with Chris Soos as dop. Also through Encore Encore, Isham and Baszak shot two days for Molson Canadian Rocks, with Michelle Czukar at Panic & Bob handling post.

Greg H’ey was director/dop on two days for Bell Canada through BLT Advertising. Ray Cole of Coledit handled post.

Also at Revolver, Allan Mestel shot three days for General Mills through fcb. Ryan McMaster was the dop and Ross Corindia of Partners’ Post is editing.

The Artists Film Company director David Cameron and dop Tim Ives landed seven days for Coors Light through fcb, Toronto. Third Floor’s Richard Unruh edited and Tantrum did the music.

Director Michael Utterback picked up two days for Total Cereal through Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, with Tami Reiker the dop. Post and music are being done in the u.s.

Gillean Proctor shot one 30-second spot over two days for Bella Pasta through Harrod & Mirlin, with James Gardner the dop and Third Floor’s Barry McMann editing.

At Maxx Productions, director/ dop David Simpson will be shooting two spots out of Enterprise Advertising for Tim Horton’s. Post will be handled by Leo Zaharatos at Chameleon.

Zoo tv director Peter Lynch and executive producer Luc Frappier are heading to Newfoundland to shoot a spot for MacLaren McCann and Molson, with Rudolph Balahchek behind the camera.

Circle Productions director/dop Stephen Yeates shot one day for Kraft Parm Plus through Leo Burnett, with David Buder at Atomic handling post.

Yeates also had two days on a United Way psa out of y&r, with Andre Pienaar on camera and David Hicks at Panic & Bob editing. Yeates had another three days for Apple Canada through bbdo, Toronto, with Buder making the cut.

Director/dop Shin Sugino picked up three days for Moosehead Beer through TBWA/Chiat Day, with Hicks handling post.

Meanwhile, Sugino and dop Rene Ohashi were joined by track star Donovan Bailey for one day in Toronto and one day in Austin, Texas, on a Maple Leaf Foods shoot through Harrod & Mirlin. Buder is editing.

Magic’s Derek Case is off to the u.s. for a three-day shoot for ibm through fcb. When he returns he has a day for S.C. Johnson, ‘Off Citronella Candles,’ also through fcb. Case then heads to the East Coast where he will continue a shoot through Corporate Communications for Nova Scotia Tourism.

Magic’s Ted Parkes will shoot a day for Keg Restaurants through Campbell & Partners.

Partners’ director Christina Hodnet picked up one day of Coppertone out of Bozell Retail, with Craig Mullins on camera and Partners’ Gerry Banning editing.

Director/dop Ian Leech shot two days of Kellogg’s Pop Tarts for Leo Burnett, with Andy Ames at Panic & Bob handling post.

Eric Yealland directed three days for Moosehead Breweries Alpine Beer through TBWA/Chiat Day. dop was Soos and Panic & Bob’s Hicks cut the spots.

Greg Sheppard directed three days for two new ‘Heritage Minutes’ spots for the Charles R. Bronfman Foundation. James Gardner was behind the camera and post was handled by Partners’ Jeff Besner.

And director/dop Mike Andringa got the call on two days for the Aveda Corporation through Civello.

TOPIX Computer Graphics and Animation has just finished an entirely computer-animated 30-second spot for M&M Mars out of Grey New York, as well as a Rogers Cablesystems assignment through Enterprise, Toronto.

Meanwhile, topix, in collaboration with cel animation company Uli Meyer of London, Eng., is working on a Honeynut Cheerios spot through Saatchi & Saatchi, New York.

Mad Dog Digital just finished a Coca-Cola spot for McCann-Erickson, Atlanta, and a Labatt Blue spot for Ammirati & Puris, with live-action by Javier Aguilera of Spy Films.

Mad Dog also completed design and effects on two Chrysler spots for BBDO Detroit.
