Buzz Image Group’s u.s. subsidiary Buzz f/x has merged with the animation department of Pacific Ocean Post to form a new expanded cgi company, POP Animation.

Buzz’s Santa Monica studio will house all of pop’s operations with a startup staff of 20.

Both operations were delivering complementary cgi and looking towards growth, with the accent at Buzz on Softimage, on Alias software at pop.
