Although official confirmation is pending, sources say Jane Logan, vp radio for the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, has been chosen the executive director of the new Specialty and Premium Television Association.

The sptv, a lobby group supporting the interests of the specialty and pay services, was announced last October, chaired by Meteomedia president Pierre Morrissette. Discovery Channel president Trina McQueen is vice-chair.

Logan leaves her cab post Jan. 31.

toronto’s Comfort Music has closed its doors at 26 Soho Street. Taking over the company’s 3rd floor space are Fish Music and Prisma Sound, which will be installing new digital sound equipment and updating the offices. Fish and Prisma had been subletting space in the building and moved into the Comfort facility Jan. 1.
