Director Wayne Gibson at Radke picked up a day for Bell Canada through Leo Burnett. Doug Koch was the dop and Partners’ Post’s Brant Lambermont edited the 30-second spot.
Radke director Philip Kates and dop Gabor Tarko shot three studio days for Pillsbury Pizza Pops. The agency was Leo Burnett and Flashcut’s Tim Kirkwood edited the three 30s.
Martin Shewchuk of Radke directed a 30 for ups through Ammirati Puris Lintas. dop on the three-day shoot was Michael Buckley and Andy Ames at Panic & Bob edited.
At L.T.B. Productions, director Christopher Gentile wrapped a day for Cheerios through fcb. dop Ryan McMaster shot the 30-second spot and Third Floor’s Barry McMann edited.
Gentile also did a day for Marshmallow Munchies through Sive y&r, Ohio. topix handled post on the 30-second spot.
The ltb team of director Steve Campbell and dop Mike Brewster shot four days for Kinder through German agency Ritter & Bee. The pool of spots was edited in Germany.
Campbell was also busy on a three-day shoot for Huggies through Ogilvy & Mather, London, Eng. ltb’s Angelo Pacifici was dop on the pool and post is being handled in London.
Also at ltb, director George D’Amato and dop Craig Mullins completed a 30-second psa for the drug-free America campaign. General Colin Powell, spokesperson for the anti-drug drive, appears in the spot. Post-production took place in the u.s.
At Apple Box Toronto, Randy MacDonald wrapped two days for Norwich Union Insurance through Ogilvy & Mather Direct. Tarko was the dop and Flashcut’s Bob Kennedy edited the 30- and 60-second spots.
Also at Apple Box, David Hackl and dop Martin Julian shot two days for a 30-second Pirate Radio spot. Post was through MV Technologies.
And director/dop Bobby Sheehan picked up a day in Halifax for Labatt through Alexander Keiths. Andy Attalai at Chameleon is editing the 30-second spot.
Robert Quartly and dop Simon Mestel at The Directors Film Company worked on two 60-second spots for Unitel. The assignment was through Young & Rubicam and features actor Steven Weber of Wings fame. David Buder edited.
Avion’s Mark Denton wrapped four days for Levi’s through Bartle Bogel Hegarty, u.k.
Director Jack Cole and dop George Morita at Avion teamed up on a five-day shoot for Block Drugs through The Buntin Group, Nashville.
Louder Music’s finetuning of its world domination plans include Finesse with ddb, Fleecy with y&r, Ontario Science Centre and Moosehead with Harrod/ Mirlin and Skor with Palmer.
Louder is pitching on a Kodak spot for McCann Moscow, which would explain the news bulletin: ‘This just in from our Moscow bureau. Louder helps Yeltsin retain presidency.’
Due to production schedule changes, Partners’ James Taylor, instead of Lambermont, edited the 30-second Bell spot directed by Radke’s Kates and listed in the July 1 issue.
