Tri-Media Productions of Saskatchewan has announced it will produce Light Years Away, a feature film written by writer/director Bryan Michael Stoller.

Stoller, whose past work includes Tales Fro The Dark Side, will direct the sci-fi fantasy. Tri-Media president Tony Towstego and James Margellos are the producers.

The film is budgeted at $5 million. Domestic distribution rights are available but Tri-Media says Alliance has expressed interest.

Production is set to begin in October in Saskatchewan.
