Director/cameraman Ken Kuramoto of Vancouver’s Coyote Films has been awarded the contract for a national 30-second spot for Eron Mortgage Corporation. He’ll shoot one day on location and Post Haste Video will handle post.
For Apple Box Vancouver, director/dop Hank Benson will shoot a day on location for Winston Tires through Kovel Kresser and Partners in Santa Monica, California. The result will be two 10-second spots featuring a nail performing standup for a roomful of tires.
Director/dop Mario Madaus, the newest addition at Big Star Motion Pictures, cut his teeth on a shoot for D’Angelo Apple Juice featuring Toronto Maple Leaf Wendel Clark. The agency is Walsh & Associates.

Derek Case of Magic will be shooting a day for p&g through Grey Advertising, a day of high-speed Unilux shooting for Kellogg’s through J. Walter Thompson, and a location day for Wal-Mart through smw. Ted Parkes has three spots slated for Grey Power Insurance.
At Players, Henry Less has wrapped four days for Ontario Savings Bonds, to be posted by Norm Odell at Flashcut. Rob Thomas shot four spots for A&P/ Dominion, and editing was handled by Chameleon’s Leo Zaharatos.
David McNally and dop Less will shoot a Coke spot through McCann-Erickson Puerto Rico. Calibre will handle post, animation and effects and Daily Post’s Peter McAuley will edit.
