Productions 166 Acadie, a production company based in Grande-Anse, n.b., is in preproduction on two documentaries. The first, Cuisine D’Ici, looks at the culinary traditions of the Acadian peninsula and how they relate to the culture. Shirley de Silva and Elio Pereira direct. The second film, The Tintamarre, is a look at the annual Acadian celebration which draws 5,000 people and their musical instruments to the village streets of Caraquet.
