Canal Premiere, the newly licensed French-language ppv network, has named Rene Bourdages as vp and gm.

Canal Premiere will offer movies, series and special events on a ppv basis to both cable and dth subscribers.

The service expects to announce a launch date within weeks. It is owned by Viewer’s Choice Canada, the English-language ppv service, Cogeco Radio-Television, Reseau de Television Quatre Saisons and Tele-Metropole.
