Kessler Irish Films’ Ron Baxter Smith has two studio days lined up early this month for Nestle Crunch through MacLaren McCann. Smith will be pulling double-duty as director/cameraman and Alex Eaton at Third Floor will edit.
Avion’s Tim Hamilton has been in London, Eng. with dop Simon Mestel shooting two days for Spectrum United through Bensimon Byrne, to be edited by Daily Post’s Peter Macauley. Mestel also shot two days with director Martin Granger for Arby’s through Doner, Baltimore. Granger will be picking up a day for Chrysler through bbdo with a yet-to-be-determined dop. Director Mark Story recently shot a day for Neilson through Leo Burnett. It was lensed by Stan Mestel and edited by Flashcut’s Mick Griffin. Stan Mestel will also be busy later this month shooting two days with director John Zurik for Virginia Lottery through Earl Palmer Brown.
At Apple Box, Vancouver, directors Philip Spink and Steve Dollinger and director/cameraman Jim Kimura are teaming up with dops John Spooner and Chris Tammaro for an 11-day shoot in Edmonton which will result in nine 30-second spots. The client is Trendmasters Toys of St. Louis, Missouri. Spink will handle five spots while Kimura and Dollinger, both from l.a., will be splitting the four other spots.
ltb director Sean Tracey will be in town this month for four build days, a prelight and two shoot days for Certainteed through Mintz & Hoke. The spots will be lensed by Richard Michalak of l.a.
James Musselman of Stonehenge recently finished shooting two spots for Le Print Express through TASAC Advertising. dop was Greg Ford and Stonehenge’s senior editor Michael Scott onlined.
Mark Masterson and Scott Barrett of Vancouver’s Under The Gun Films are gearing up to work on two 30-second spots for a downtown eatery called Cipriano Ristorante starring the restaurant’s enthusiastic owner. The duo just completed producing and directing the opening segment for the 1995 Lotus Awards.
