Coming up this week at The Players Film Company, director David McNally will be shooting a day with dop Joe Pender for Vidal Sassoon through Tatham euro rscg and two days with dop David Franco for the Ontario Lottery Corporation through Promanad Communications. Flashcut’s Norm Odell will handle post for the Ontario Lottery work.
Kessler Irish director Frank Tammariello has just finished shooting five days in Vancouver for the Dairy Bureau of Canada through Cossette, Montreal. The shoot was lensed by James Gardner. A few days earlier, Ron Baxter Smith directed two days for Shoppers Drug Mart through Chiat/Day, with Andre Pienaar on dop duty. Third Floor Editing’s John Hopps will cut.
At Imported Artists, Charlie Carson and dop Rene Ohashi shot a day in Niagara-on-the-Lake and three days in Toronto for Canada Trust through Durnan Communications. Calibre will be handling computer animation for the spot and Flashcut’s Bob Kennedy will edit.
Director/dop Gordon Clark of Heathgate Films just finished four days for Pampers through dmb&b, New York. Meanwhile, Baker Smith was directing a day for at&t through fcb, New York.
On the West Coast, director/ dop Allen Jones of The Ace Film Company shot a day for the British Columbia Dairy Foundation through McCann-Erickson. The 15-second spot, part of a series, features a hoop-shooting cow.
