The Usual Suspects

The new Polygram/cof release, The Usual Suspects, grossed $271,539 at the box office in its first three days. The print average for the 32-print release was $8,485.59, the highest print average across the country for the weekend.

Liste Noire

Liste Noire, Astral’s new release directed by Jean-Marc Vallee and starring Michel Cote and Genevieve Brouillette, has been number one at the box office in Quebec for two weeks running. Opening Sept. 5 on two screens and then expanding to 37 screens six days later, the film has grossed $366,047 at the box office. The film was scheduled to open in Toronto and Ottawa Sept. 22 with an additional five prints.
