Montreal: Distribution La Fete is actively pursuing worldwide rights to family feature films and programs and plans to manage the release of Productions La Fete Tales for All movies in theaters, says president Kevin Tierney.

Tierney, who also executive produces outside features, says the creation of the distribution company earlier this year is an extension of Productions La Fete’s successful export activity; the Tales for All features have sold to over 100 countries. ‘We’ve always done our own television presales,’ he says. ‘It is not as if we aren’t known by the tv buyers.’

In the u.s., Productions La Fete product has been sold to Disney Channel, Miramax, i.v
