The Song Spinner, a Canadian film shot last year at the historic Fortress of Louisbourg, will open the 15th Atlantic Film Festival on Friday, Sept. 22. It will be the international theatrical premiere of the family feature directed by Randy Bradshaw.
Mort Ransen’s Margaret’s Museum will be featured at the closing gala of the festival on Saturday, Sept. 30. The screening marks the Atlantic premiere of the film.
The festival will also be screening three of the most talked-about Canadian films of the year: Robert Lepage’s The Confessional, Clement Virgo’s Rude and Soul Survivor from Stephen Williams. Both Virgo and Williams are expected to attend.
