* Jean-Philippe ‘Philo’ Gelinas has been hired by Sonolab’s sound department in a bid by the company to increase its share of the audio post market for tv commercials.

Gelinas, 37, is one of the industry’s top sound engineers following 12 years at Studio Marko where he edited more than 3,000 spots, and also worked in sound design.
