AQRRCT elects board

Cote says topics highlighted at the meeting include the upcoming round of negotiations on a new collective agreement for television with apftq producers, the need to advance membership interests at revamped agencies including sodec, Telefilm Canada and the National Film Board, and the need to pursue directors’ rights on copyright issues as well as advance the interests of film d’auteur documentary production.
Other elected members of the 1995/96 aqrrct executive committee are Regent Bourque, Phil Comeau, Jeannine Gagne, Alain Jacques, Yves Langlois, Jean Pierre Lefebvre, Diane Poitras and Sylvie Van Brabant.
The association was founded in 1973 and has 150 members. Martine Maltais is aqrrct director general.
