Montreal: Cinar Films has opened an l.a. office to focus on creating new strategic partnerships with American studios and networks and to continue establishing itself within the u.s. industry. Sam Wendel, Cinar’s vp development and production, u.s. (and former director of Telefilm Canada’s l.a. office) heads up the new branch.
