In the June 19 issue, we incorrectly reported that the Summer Institute of Film and Television’s outstanding corporate achievement award went to Alliance Communications. Atlantis Films is, in actual fact, the winner. Playback regrets the error.

In the June 19 People column on p. 11, Daniel Weinzweig was incorrectly identified as the president of Norstar Entertainment. Peter Simpson is Norstar president.

Weinzweig was recently appointed managing director, business development and operations for Mayfair Entertainment International, London, Eng.

In the same issue, Pierre Fyfe was listed as president of Productions Video 30. Sylvie Berthiaume is the president of Video 30 and Fyfe is a producer with Montreal commercial house S.W.A.T. Films

Also last issue, in the p. 1 story ‘Canadian fare should hold its own,’ the producer of Nilus the Sandman was incorrectly listed as Lacewood, Ottawa. Nilus is a coproduction between Toronto-based Cambium Film and Video Productions and Delaney and Friends, Vancouver.

In the same story, Back Alley Films was omitted from the list of coproducers for Talk 16. Adrienne Mitchell and Janis Lundman of Back Alley are coproducing the six-part series with Alliance Communications and cbc.
